The convergence of multi-modal generative AI across text, audio and video will transform human to human interaction.

We will soon be able to form relationships - transactional and emotional - with completely virtual characters. The technology already exists and 23 year old Caryn Marjorie has created an AI version of herself that provides companionship for $1 per minute.

She has already earned over $71k.

Forever Voices created the AI by analyzing 2,000 hours of Marjorie's YouTube content to develop a personality engine. They have also produced chatbot versions of Donald Trump, Steve Jobs, and Taylor Swift for pay-per-use services.

Virtual companionship is just the beginning. Consider a few common human to human interactions:

Friends and colleagues
Intimate partners
Client service representatives
Therapists

All these relationships could be replaced using AI.

We could soon even interact with deceased by bringing them back to life in model form. In theory, CarynAI could maintain relationships in perpetuity, immortalizing Caryn Marjorie forever.

To figure out where this all heads, you just need to follow the money. If there’s a way for businesses or consumers to save money, the capability will get rolled out.

For example, therapists could offers a discounted AI version of themselves, saving clients money while scaling their reach.

An asset management inside sales team could be replicated by a team of AI characters making and answering phone calls on the company’s behalf. The original relationship might be formed by a human, with the ongoing maintenance managed by an AI.

Individuals could speak to AI versions of experts on topics of interest (e.g. I could have a one-on-one conversation with a virtual Carl Sagan).
