Half of Canadians are over the age 41. There’s an approximate 20 year buffer before and after working age, so for argument’s sake let’s say the two buffers balance out the data. Therefore, a simplistic interpretation would therefore suggest half of Canadian workers are over the age 41. (Totally unscientific, but you get the point.)
This leaves me with a question: are roughly half the people at your company over the age 41? I doubt it. Ageism is rampant in many workplaces.
