1: Goldman Sachs released their top-down expectations for the S&P 500. Baseline target is 5100 (+9% from today) with an upside case of 5500 (+17%) and downside case of 3500 (-25%). Upside target depends on faster-than-expected earnings growth and lower-than-expected inflation, while the downside target is based on the opposite.
Of course, take these forecasts with a grain of salt. Nobody can predict the future with much consistency or accuracy.
